EVERYTHING IS FINE.

WHO IS LEFT TO HEAR YOUR SECRET?

This is my little blog corner where I will be posting whatever I see fit to post here honestly. Not really sure what's gonna go here yet. Just gonna go with the flow and see what I feel like.

That skate park show wound up being super awesome. Tons of vendors, tons of people, tons of skating. Went with 3 friends. Ice cream truck pulled up. Did lots of two-stepping and getting thrown around, ran a circle pit, helped a bunch of people crowd surf. Someone threw an actual banana into the crowd and people tossed it around until it made it all the way to the stage. It gooped up the lead's guitar bridge, so someone took their shirt off and gave it to him to use to clean out the banana from his bridge. They were giving away a bunch of free shit, including a few skateboards. Some little kid caught a skateboard, which was rad obviously. Here's some pix as promised.

I'm the one in the plaid shirt and green hat. As you can see, the place was pretty packed. We also got epic ice cream. Got Wendy's after and went back to my friend's house to watch My Babysitter's a Vampire for a bit. All in all it was definitely one for the book.

I encourage you all to go to local shows if you can. They're close by, they're cheap, and everybody's tight with each other. It's also a really good time. In the paraphrased words of the singer for one of the bands from last night, "They're all waiting for something like Warped Tour to happen again, meanwhile some of the best shows of their lives are happening 20 minutes away from their house." So get out and find your night life. It's out there waiting for you.

Have been recovering from being sick the past few days. Went to the beach and found some critters though. Was a little bit fun to get out again like that. Also got ice cream but it upset my stomach soooooo bad.

Anyways I'm going to the gym in a few minutes to try to make up for the past week I haven't been able to. Then I'm headed to a free show at my local skate park today. Emo bands playing all day. Seeing some new bands and some bands I'm already familiar with. Thank god I got better in time so I could actually go. I'll take pix if it's cool.

Went out for a walk in the woods behind my house again. Still too sick and congested to really be out there for too long. I might have to call out of work again today. Anyway, I've found a few invasive species. One of the ones really bothering me is the porcelain berry. It wasn't there last year, and from what I can tell, it's already spread pretty fast. I am unsure how to get rid of it myself, and the association who owns that patch of woods refuses to do any upkeeping for the woods or the trail back there. I've had to do everything myself.

I am really getting tired of being sick. I have a lot of shit to do that is only getting more and more backlogged. Also I feel horrible. And it's pissing me off that I haven't been to the gym in like a week. At least I have had some forced free time on my hands to finally commit to getting this neocities page up and running. I'm gonna try to stick to it this time. I think I might spend the day finally working on my CRP AU. Might do a little bit of browsing on this site too.

Okokok. So. I will soon be doing a drastic overhaul of my online presence, and making this neocities page is a part of that. I'm quitting pretty much every major social media with the exception of tumblr (if tumblr even counts as major social media anymore) and I will exclusively reside in the spaces I have listed on my links page.

I may decide to treat my neocities blog page like a myspace page, or I may only post things relating to my creative stuff and my AUs. Not sure yet. But I just cannot deal with this whole "you need your government ID to access this website" shit. I refuse to cooperate, and I will do everything in my power to fight against that orwellian bs. I don't care if I have to learn how to code, I don't care if I have to use opensource everything and avoid services hosted by corporations. I don't care. I refuse to volunteer to be surveilled for nefarious and disingenuous purposes.

You have reached the end of my blog.
